Join Lois Stanfield for a 2-part webinar on How to Paint Dogs. We will complete a painting from start to finish with all of its many stages.
PART 1 includes Photoshop techniques for preparing your image for painting. This includes basic color-correction, enhancing detail in highlights and shadows, developing the eyes for maximum impact, cloning parts of other photos into the image, masking the fur, dealing with poor-quality images with blown-out highlights or plugged up shadows, and choosing/developing a background.
PART 2 includes Corel Painter techniques for painting your prepped image, including an intro to Painter basics with choice of brushes, variants and features, cloning, labeling and saving different stages of your painting, adding color, highlights and shadows, how to paint both long and short fur, blending the image into the background, and finishing your painting, ready to print to canvas. There will be time for Q&A, and a special drawing for lucky individual!
